BA's discussion of promoting the SEC brand could really come into play next year when there are four teams with nearly identical conference records and neither UGA nor Bama make the SECCG, but still have only one or two losses. Looking at Mizzou and Ole Miss schedules and could really see a scenario where they play each other in SECCG. Will the CFP committee be willing to put 4 SEC teams in compared to 4 B1G teams that may be similar? Let Arguments ensue.

I'll say it again. Being left out of the CFP was a gut-check for UGA and FSU. The difference in how each responded is a reflection of leadership and culture. In terms of leadership and culture there is daylight between UGA and everyone else.
