Irreplaceable? I don't think that will be the case.

These all are great players but please don't over hype them.

Bowers is the obvious choice, no way to ever replace his on and off the field accomplishments. That said, I am excited about our tight end room for years to come. Todd Hartley doing an awesome job with recruiting and coaching.

@MikeGriffith Just curious as to why you're "somewhat" surprised that Bullard would come out for the draft because he's a probable second-day pick, but you didn't express that same level of surprise for McConkey coming out, who you also say is a likely second-day pick. What's the difference, in your opinion?

I agree that we will miss these 5 DGDs, the closest to irreplaceable is Bowers. However, our TE group is still one of the best in the nation. All the others will be missed, but I expect their replacements will be very good, possibly even better in some cases. Go Dawgs!

all bonified DGD's that we will miss tremendously.

JBullard doesn't have prototypical NFL size nor speed for the S position. "Second day NFL pick" is his ceiling relative to the NFL draft. Coming back, and risking injury, would unduly jeopardize that.
