ATHENS -- Georgia basketball center Russel Tchewa stood just tall enough to steal a last-second, 68-66 win over LSU on Wednesday.

That was a steal. They can’t keep blowing 9 point leads under 5 minutes left and expect to win like that. Gotta win a lot more to be an NCAA tournament contender.
A win is a win but if they can't learn to close out a game then we won't be dancing come March. Not having a good to scorer is also a problem down the stretch. Big game Saturday vs the Lizards
They seem to let down and then re-surge in desperation. Well this was desperate.....but a win is a win.
The finish was a fluke. UGA needs to learn to stand tall in the last 6-7 minutes of games. Learn to finish strong and not give the opponent a chance!

As bad a GA basketball has been over the past several years, a win of any kind right now is a win. They do need to get better but they are already so much better it’s incredible. One step at a time. At least they’re not embarrassing anymore. Go Dawgs!
