Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

NCAA can't enforce NIL rules after judge grants injunction - ESPN
At this point I think the NCAA just needs to back out of the whole NIL enforcement thing. They have already lost the war. Student athletes are allowed to get paid by whatever means they can attract. I have a feeling that the next big issue is going to be academics...like how Sanders at Colorado only takes online classes. Yeah, right....I'm sure that guy is up late cramming for tests and writing papers.
How do you enforce academic standards in a world where online classes are now the norm? I know academics have always been suspect among college athletes (one of my best friends in college was Drew Bledsoe's "tutor"). And then how did Stet spend 7 years in college and not complete a degree? I get it. I just think there are other issues the NCAA needs to concern itself with instead of trying to get in the middle of feeding frenzy that they will not be able to control.
Is that true….Stetson never graduated? He basically just ran out of illegibility?? If so, that’s one of the most bizarre things ever
It is true.
