Since Saban left so far, it's starting to look like a train wreck in slow motion.
Act like champions, don't gloat.
I really don't think Bama will fall too far given its rich tradition but DeBore was a poor choice and it will now take time and probably a better thought out coaching pick to return to the top of the SEC. Rather than hire a coach with the credentials of a top tier recruiter, Greg Byrne went for the temporal glitz of a winner in the poorest big 5 conference in America.....a conference that exist in name only.... that ain't goin to cut it in the SEC. I still contend that the QB Guru and excellent recruiter, Trent Dilfer from UAB would have been a smoother transition and a much better pick....likewise, even Jeff Traylor of UTSA, who is a winning HC and owns recruiting in Texas would have been a better pick.
I predict that Greg and Kalen won't be around long......Gloat, naw, I just pity the poor fool
