I used to be mad that the Falcons hardly ever drafted a Georgia player, but now I’ll be mad if they do. Former Georgia players shouldn’t be subjected to the crappy organization that is the Falcons right now. Georgia players are used to winning, not losing. They are used to being led by good coaches, not losers and bad head office personnel.

I don't know. From what I'm seeing and reading...they appear to have finally turned the page from the "Dan Henning Era" and the Super-Collapse.

I see the organization getting stronger and smarter. What I'm wondering is...what took so darned long. Any given wino on a corner could've told em, they needed a leader in the offensive backfield, last year.

They don't even need a "great quarterback". They just need an experienced field general [i.e. Chris Chambliss '99], to manage ball distribution and blocking assignments, to get em back to the playoffs. Anything's possible, after that. The point is, they don't need Superman.

That being said....One of their coordinators worked with 4 former Dawgs in LA last year.....hence...

If Bennett is available and healthy....I can see the Falcons trying to pick him up in trade, as a project to backup the ultimate veteran they bring in....[either, Curtler or Fields or ???].

And, speaking of Superman.....In the 1st round of the draft...I see Atlanta taking Brock Bowers....[if available]. Possibly Dallas Turner....[if not].

The point is....they're beyond needing a savior, this season. They're salty and ready for war and need a General....not a College kid. Lol
