From Saban's comments about NIL it was clear to me that he was no longer interested in putting in the time and work to recruit the type of player whose first priority is developing as a player in order to work as a TEAM mate to win....this is no slight on Saban, the greatest college football coach of all time....I fully get doing something for 50 years, it's time for a new challenge. The key to NIL management rest in recruiting players mature enough to accept the reality of delayed gratification in order to develop and improve your skill set making your marketability at the highest level after college....that maybe the NFL or it maybe plying your skills in the working world. Kirby has excelled at adding coaches that are willing to do the work required to find and recruit mature players.....this is why The DAWGS will continue to WIN! Carson Beck is a great prototypical example!
