Is this going to be like our basketball team? Strong start to the season, build everyone's hopes, and then return to normal when we start playing some conference games? I sure hope not. Not a good start for sure...
It was inevitable. They gave up a lot of runs to lesser teams and it’s only going to continue as the league schedule plays out. I was voted down earlier for saying I was leery of them before league play started and I remain that way now. I hope they can pull it together and prove me wrong! Go Dawgs!
The real season has started…
I’m with you BornADawg. But as you know whenever anything less than praise is expressed someone will post a down vote. It’s cra cra. Truth, or merely obvious recognition of a flaw in our Dawgs is simply not acceptable to some folks.
Nevertheless, the early excitement for our baseball team beating obviously very weak teams was not justified. No way of knowing how good we are until we start playing better competition. Who knows, the guys may have a very good season. At least that’s what we all are hoping for. Only time will tell the story of this year’s baseball team.
