I feel the same way about Montgomery as I did about Zollers. I don't think a 2025 Montgomery or 2025 Zollers will play ahead of the more talented 2026 commit, Jared Curtis. Both would wait behind Gunner and Puglisi and then have to compete with Curtis down the road. I think UGA will keep working on JuJu and if he doesn't flip, look to the portal for QB depth.

I think Kirby, Bobo and the rest of the staff should more than make sure Curtis is an absolute priority and also I think some lucrative NIL deals should get in to the works. I hate these kids getting these huge NIL deals before they ever play a down of College football but the fact is, they are and that is what will win most of these 5 star players commitment. I don't get all excided about a verbal because you know that commitment probably fold more than it holds.

Everything seems to be fluid, these days.

"The culture, development and the overall roster are major lures to becoming a Bulldog."…..if this indeed how this young man feels, I believe he might better get off his arse and commit to the G…..as CWdawg pointed out, he's behind Gunner, Pugs and Curtis…..wait til after the portal parade and there will most likely be a transfer QB filling in the #4 spot and he'll be learning how to Cookle Doodle Do!

the portal and NIL has changed QB recruiting. It’s no longer a developmental role, but a chess match. I’m not too concerned about HS commitments at this position every year. As long as the DAWGS can get a top QB every other year, the portal will fill in the blanks if needed. Or who knows. The next Stetson Bennett may be on the practice squad as we speak
