How long are you guys going to milk this? Yes, FSU and UGA are different programs run by different coaches with different philosophies on how to run a program. Big shock there. UGA has been a top 10 program and occasional title contender since the hobnail boot game against Auburn in Mark Richt's first season. By contrast FSU has been a mess since the last few years of the Bobby Bowden regime, is in a conference that is imploding, is actually the #3 football program in their state in terms of tradition/facilities/academics etc. and Mike Norvell is forced to build his program with mercenaries.

No, FSU's whining is no better than UGA fans in 2007 and 2018 claiming that they deserved shots at the title when they were the third best team in the SEC (behind LSU both years, Tennessee in 07 and Bama in 18) or even this year's claim that the committee should have put UGA in based on their 2021 and 2022 accomplishments (never mind that the 2023 team clearly wasn't as good as the previous 2).

Nice "narrative", Mike. It's BS, though...you know that right?

The "Season" ended, the week before UGA lost....in the postseason SEC Championship “Game.”

And, that's why Michigan's '23 Natty...will forever be tarnished and diminished. It was a political award, this year. Not the “first” time, either.

Maybe, now that we have a semi-official playoff...it's gonna be hard to "pencil-whip" a team out of contention. It's gonna be tough to say, it wasn't won on the field. “They” still have their ways, though.

For the record...i think Smart has UGA positioned “above” all that, now. The only way they can crook him and UGA, is to catch em injured and compromised....like they did in the SECCG.

FSU, may not have been as good or better, after they “lost” their QB,. Who knows?...that's a decision for the gridiron.

But, one thing is for “absolute” certain...UGA would've been much better on Dec 31 Than they were 1 month prior.…and Alabama wasn't that much better.

What does that tell ya about their BS “Criteria”, now? Lol
