Tykee Smith: 3 things to know about the Georgia defensive back ahead of 2024 NFL Draft
Tykee Smith is a defensive back from Georgia. He is expected to be taken in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Comments
Tykee has an undertold feel-good story.
He wasn't highly recruited, but suddenly was outstanding at WV. He hits the big time by transferring to Georgia, but he goes down for a whole season and then some with two separate injuries - the last one an ACL. He's inconsistent in his first season back, but works hard in the offseason and then has a stellar senior year at UGA, proving not only that those two years at WV weren't a fluke but also that he has the capacity after an ACL to work himself back into shape.
DGD!
