SVP is a DGD, and as great as he was at center for the Dawgs, he's even a greater person, he could have left last year, but come back to help out our team, he sounds like a humble person, with no ego, I look forward to seeing him play in the NFL, hope you stay healthy, and have a great career. Thank you, and the others, for helping us become National Champions twice.

I agree with everything you said. And had Mims (or Bowers) not gotten injured there would be a good chance that UGA would have celebrated a 3Peat. The MI/UGA game would have been a classic.

But ask yourself this. If SVPG was drafted in the 5th rd this draft where would he have been drafted had he come out after the '22 season? SVPG did his pre draft homework and his best bet to get drafted higher was to come back for the '23 season and further develop his craft.

So it worked out best for him and for UGA. In most cases the longer a guy stays in school the better their long term prospects, both in and out of football, will be.

IF SVPG's draft stock was down graded because he can ONLY play C in the NFL then someone got a very good C for the next 10 years. A few UGA C's have played pretty well in the NFL. I can't think of a better UGA C than SVPG.

Terrific interview. I loved every minute. This young man has moved up on my list of favorite Dawgs. He is what other young players coming in to the program should aspire to be.

I will be watching and cheering for him and look forward to the blocks he'll throw down for James Cook.

May he have a long productive career in the NFL… But… May he return to the Dawgs as its Offensive Line Coach one of these days…

Not only a DGD for life but another member in the extremely exclusive "DAWG CULTURE CLUB"……Seddy is the personification and embodiment of the highest standard of DAWG CULTURE! Every wonder just what type young man is sought out to be a DAWG…..just look at SVPG, ever wonder which (stars don't count) recruits will be successful as DAWGS and in there professional future…..just look at SVPG…..NOTE to any player aspiring to become a DAWG…..Just look at SVGP!

The Falcon's really blew it by not picking SVP in the 4th round. He would have solidified their offensive line for the next 10 years. For the NFL franchise closest to Athens, they know nothing about the Dawgs…

The Falcons' philosophy seems to be to make as many headscratching picks as possilble. In fairness though, their fourth round choice (Brandon Dorlus) may have been their best decision of their draft.
