Georgia has become a factory for defensive backs. The Bulldogs have had multiple defensive backs taken in each of the last four NFL drafts, with Kamari Lassiter, Javon Bullard and Tykee Smith being the latest three models off the assembly line.

    Nice comments from Saban. People were criticizing him for his perspective on Mims, but — whether he was wrong or right — he was just doing his job. Praising Lassiter is the flip side of that.

    Claiming that Mims took himself out of the game was wrong. Either he said so without knowing what happened - he was not on the UGA sideline and is not Mims' doctor - or he has access to inside information that only coaches have that should remain private. Saban's athletes weren't exactly 100% squeaky clean at LSU and Bama so he should limit talk like that to his own former players.
