    Sounds like reparations…..? A decade ago? You have to be kidding? And, playoff field to 14 teams? NCAA football as we knew it is no more.

    Paying back pay to players who played before NIL was even a thought? That's funny! What's next for this NIL driven insanity? As some have commented, sadly, college football as we knew it is no more. Paying kids millions coming straight out of HS, having never playing 1 snap in college, is utterly ridiculous. My opinion, you get millions from a NIL deal..you should help pay you tuition, board, meals, and everything a scholarship entails.

    This is another example of the legal system run amok. All the "guard rails" amount to is more restrictions on players to prevent them from transferring between schools while coaches and staff can jump to the next best job at the drop of a hat. Paying players from 10 years ago is absurd on its face, how did they pick that threshold? Why not 15 or 20? It is an arbitrary deadline that only invites further litigation.
