    Plenty of amateur athletic models out there for comparison. From US baseball minor league system to European soccer. Look forward to the day college football focuses on the fan base and gets their **** straight!

    As long as fans are willing to spend big bucks on the teams and TV deals generate such a massive amount of money, there will not be anything "amateur" about the big college sports.

    If you want to see amateur college sports, watch the ones lower down on the food chain like wrestling, men's volleyball, or lacrosse.
