Nice recap on the spring. Baseball looks to be heading up and as I walked past the stadium yesterday construction is already underway. So that is long overdue. Baseball is such a big sport in Georgia there really is no excuse not to field a competitive team every year.

Basketball looks to be better next year and we keep reeling in some quality guys.

Not sure if the Georgia team can get to 11-1 or 10-2 with their schedule but if they do get in the playoffs watchout. This team will be fully seasoned if they do get there. It is not a gimme this year by any stretch and we could be a top 5 team and go 9-3 if we slip up a couple times and you just know they would love to leave us out again.

However, and I say this as someone who grew up on Pac10 ball and followed the Pac 10 and Big 10 and Notre Dame until the Age 30 when I moved here. This Georgia team is a collection of All Stars and it will take a lot of self inflicted mistakes for them to lose more than 1 game this year. The only roster that compares is Ohio States and maybe maybe Texas.

That being said, I'm calling my shot, Dawgs win the NC again and go 15-1. Not sure who the 1 is but they will lose 1 of those away games.

It's been great to see what the baseball Dawgs were able to accomplish this season, especially considering they were forecast to be in the middle of the pack at the first of the season. We got so close to going to the CWS. Like you said Bill, I'm proud of those Diamond Dawgs and think their future is bright.

All I can say about the new world of college football is change is a constant now. More change and adjustments are probably on the way within the next few years. That's ok with me. I'm just super excited about this coming season with all the new matchups (both inside and outside the SEC) and the 12-team playoff. All the other stuff will just be outside "noise" once the season kicks off.
