ATHENS — You can understand why it wasn’t a big deal to Georgia fans when Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe first made his comments regarding the SEC championship game against Georgia.

Argh Connor...that Bama loss still stings! We simply had opportunities and couldn't finish the drill or keep Milrow from doing just enough to win. Without Bowers and McConkey near healthy enough, our offense was off kilter and Beck was out of sync. Michigan's defense was the kind of defense the Dawgs fielded in 2021-22. Suffocating. Praying we can find that kind of defense this season. We will need it against our biggest rival on September 28th. It will be pay back time!
We lost the game, simple as that. I know Mims, McConkey and Bowers were down but we preach next man up and that can't be our motto only when convenient. The 1 interesting thing about Milroe's comments to me would be that "Georgia looked defeated and didn't want anymore" and we weren't ready for a 60-minute game. With that being said, it took everything Alabama had to run out the clock and win by a whopping 3 points. By his own admission, a "defeated" UGA team could barely be beat by Alabama…that makes Alabama look way more lucky than good…
Hoping them Dawgs go and smoke the Tides big! Cant wait for hitting season! Right now is just talking season.
"A moment of honesty"? That a Kirby Smart coached Georgia team up and quit against Bama? That they "didn't believe in" giving a 60 minute effort in a game of that importance? Come on, Connor.
