If there were any concerns about any UGA recruiting group it would have to be OL. After AMims UGA's OL recruiting seemed to take a step back. UGA wasn't stacking up 5*'s anymore. The last 2 - 3 classes UGA seemed to be stacking up players that were ranked as lower ranked 4*'s with some 3*'s mixed in.

Part of that was the changes in OL coaches from Pittman to Luke to Searels. Also it was harder to attract 5* players when they would be sitting behind other 5* players with more time in the program.

Say what you want about recruiting "rankings". If you look at UGA's OL draft history (under CKS) most, if not all, of UGA's OL high draft choices were all 5* HS players. Thomas, Wilson, BJones, Mims, Salyer (and Ratlege and Greene) all 5*'s.

UGA needs to clean up on OL in this class. After this season all the previous 5* players (Freeling was a 4* in Rivals) will have moved through the program. There will be opportunity for any player, regardless of class, to carve out a role in the OL rotation.

After this season the UGA OL will have questions throughout. The program was built on the trenches. Glover is a really nice piece but more will need to be found or developed.
