I'm think a 2 game suspension for both. Last chance though. Next time you are off the team.

Maybe we should make it illegal for males under 25 to drive anything more powerful than a Ford Fiesta. 😀

I had a 20 year old Beatle (1961)and still managed to drive like no one was looking.

Looks like,,...after the Steelers lost a player to a high-speed auto accident...in a Dodge Charger, no less...the Athens Police & GSP are cracking down.

Good!. It may not stop em...but, it'll slow em down and save a few lives...IMO. Remember, though...a ticket is only an accusation. Nobody's been convicted of anything, yet. At least...not on my world or in my book. LOL

Thes guys just don't get it. our young men have to be smarter than this. The Athens Clarke County police are watching you, closely. Trust and believe they know who you are..

Makes you wonder about the intelligence level of some of these players!

Hopefully, no alcohol was involved in either of these incidents, but the reality is that young men with type-A personalities and the resources to buy fast cars are going to drive them fast. I dealt with this as a Marine Officer with Marines around the same age as college students. They were getting their first paychecks, and of course, the first thing they purchase is a fast car. The same mentality it takes to run on a football field and run full speed into someone without fearing injury, even after you watch your teammates and opponents get injured, is the mentality of getting in a car and driving too fast when you've seen what can happen. KS and the coaching staff must keep emphasizing the dangers of speeding and drinking and driving. I know there are a lot of legal issues going on, but hopefully, they're using the deaths of Chandler LeCroy and Devin Willock to teach that no one is invincible.
