I'm trying to understand this "rivalry" but it seems the **** of it is from the West Coast. People out here despise UGA, despise Kirby and IMO, jealousy is behind it. They still believe they deserve to be in the conversation, that other people have kept them from their rightful spot in "blue blood" lore.
Fans and media out here are bought in on Coach Henderson and have convinced themselves that Aaron Donald succeeded due to Henny. The whole "DAWGWORK" mantra is a big deal.
The latest from USC bloggers and youtubers is that if USC lands Elijah, it will break Kirby and bring him to his knees. I kid you not, this is what they believe. The 2nd most iterated point is encouraging USC to negative recruit UGA with character concerns. And, they still believe they have a legit shot at winning Gibson and Terry back if they can demonstrate a winning season.
