Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Ellis Robinson working to ‘maximize his ability’ and impact as a freshman for UGA
Ellis Robinson is doing his best to carve out some early playing time at the cornerback competition for Georgia football.

THe word on the street is that he is thin, but he will flat out hit you.
Oh he is good. And he will be very good. In time. Same things were said about AJ Harris this time last year. Remember how AJ trained with NFL players that raved about him?
Thin? He is not quite Jaheim Singletary thin. Or Jalen Kimber thin. Or Daniel Harris thin. Or Nyland Green thin. But none of those thin guys played as freshmen. Three basically never played at all at UGA.
Now imagine 240 lb RRob coming around the corner with a head of steam and a 180 lb ERIV stepping up to "flat out hit" him because that is his job in the UGA D. Splat? My point is that THAT is why CKS USUALLY breaks in freshmen gradually. He does not play freshman until they are physically ready to compete and protect themselves. Expect the same w/ERIV. Gradual except for the TN Tech's, UMass's and GT's.
KJ is the exception. He has to play early. But S in the UGA D is more of a down field pass defender. S does not see the LOS tackling responsibility that CB and Star does. 2nd year CB Chris Peal being moved to S is a good move to get more potential quality depth at the S position. But it is also the back up plan to KJ not being ready to mentally or physically handle the load yet. Freshmen.
