Lawson and Yurosek competing can only make UGA tight end room stronger. Delp as well. Health may be the issue with Luckie, he lost last year pretty much with a bad ankle injury.

The Gift that will forever keep on giving……Brock Bowers is the greatest TE to ever play at Georgia. The catches, the first downs, the yardage, the TD's, and the games won because of his contributions pale in comparison to the gift he left. Brock evelavated then set a standard that every Dawg TE is shooting for…..Oscar and Lawson are the immediate beneficiaries having been TEAMMATES but Ben, Jaden, Colton, David, Patrick, Cooper, and Henry all practice with that standard always in their view. That standard and Coach Hartley, not only make the Georgia TE Room the best in college football but the best for years to come!

You're absolutely right. Speaking from personal experience...losing your job to someone just a little better than you, because you got complacent...has a way of lighting a blue fire under your tail. 1st....you beat yourself up...then, you get to work improving your skills and adding new ones.

We'll see which way it goes…but, either way....all 3 guys [Yurosek, Luckie & Delp], will come out the better for it. If they all stay with & within the Program.

Look how successful the Falcons' Fitzpatrick has become. He was playing second fiddle, at UGA, behind Bowers & Washington. Goede was another one that didn't get a lot of notice.

UGA is where the NFL goes shopping for Tight Ends.....and, everything else, these days. Lol

Go get em Big Red G!
