Way to go CJ Allen !! Proud of you and for you !! Wow at 6300 people Barnesville has really grown since we lived near there in the late 80’s. We lived in Spalding Cnty. where it sort of intersected with Butts, Monroe, and Lamar Counties. That seems like centuries ago now. Atlanta has shifted all the way down to those counties, including even Pike county.

By that I mean thousands and thousands of people who live in those counties actually commute to Atlanta to work. We lived there for ten years moving away in 1997. Was So different back then. My wife worked most of those years in Barnesville. Loved that area back then, but far to populated now for my tastes. I’m an ole country boy. 😀 Go CJ !! Go Dawgs !!

Went to Gordon College for two years 88-90 before heading to UGA so who knows @navydawg, our paths may have crossed while I was in Griffin. Now back in the UK but still follow my beloved dawgs

“…following in the footsteps of NFL linebackers Monty Rice and Nakobe Dean as the voice and heartbeat of the defense.”

Feel like the meat may have been left out of this sandwich. Lol.

Love what CJ has to say. He seems to truly aspire to greatness. Continue with your development and you'll be there. Looking forward to watching this young man this fall. GO DAWGS

Right on Mike! Dumas-Johnson is now playing for a mid-level SEC team for one reason: CJ Allen is better.
