If KPS never sez what it is, it can be what it will be….TE will dress out, be on the side lines and he'll watch Robinson, Cash, Bell and maybe Frazier TCB. Maybe TE gets in if all is in hand but it will never be revealed as a punishment but the message will resonate in every players mind as they will not know the reasons either but be left to speculate. The absence of TE will keep pressure on the entire TEAM to do your job, and work as a TEAM every snap…….we fans love to single out one player or another and make them a "savior"……..DAWG CULTURE dictates, there are no saviors, just TEAM, just Next Man up, never surrender…….I'm thinking 75%/25% pass run offense against The Tigers………GOOOO DAWGS, SICEM, WOOF, WOOF, WOOF

“I don’t really talk about any of the other stuff in regards to any of our players with suspensions but I’m excited about all the guys that are going to get an opportunity to play at back.”

That sounds to me like a hint that Trevor will sit out at least the start of the game. We'll see. But it would seem appropriate to have him miss, say, the first half.

Plus already (begun) fulfilling the obligations of the legal punishment (fine, community service, "self help", etc.). Go Dawgs!

The key sentence in the story is, "It should be noted that the charges Etienne did plead guilty to do not violate the Georgia code of conduct" to trigger automatic suspension. ETN will not be suspended. Too much at stake for the young man (NFL draft position) and too much at stake for UGA. IF RRob would've been healthy then maybe the punishment would've been more severe (suspension game 1).

RRob is out. If ETN is suspended that leaves BRob, CJones (a 3rd down back) and 3 freshmen in their 1st game. BRob is not physically ready to be the bell cow this early, in a game of this magnitude, against a formidable front 7. UGA would be risking the health of a young player by overloading him this early after his rehab. Not in BRob's best interests.

DBell is not a legitimate option here. It is unfair to him in his development to throw him in at RB for this game. We will never know how good he can be at WR or see him break out at WR this season as expected if he keeps getting pulled into the backfield. Can he run the jet sweep from the slot or line up in the backfield and catch a screen or even have a carry or 2 from halfback? Yes. But he is probably more valuable and dangerous playing WR. A heavy load for DBell at RB in this game would be a head scratcher.

All that points to ETN playing in game 1. How much? IDK but he'll dress and be ready to go. Bowens may have a bigger role than anticipated since he has been in Athens since January. Can UGA win with Frazier and Bowens playing most of the snaps? IDK but we may find out.
