Final grades from UGA’s statement win over Clemson
Georgia football earned high marks for its 34-3 win over Clemson.

Special teams: A…….I beg to differ, PW perfect EP, plus a 55 yarder, BT no punt returns, AE III covered every punt and added 23 yards in returns….there is always room to improve but against an opponent like Clemson I'd award an A+….
Try to post again……? These are changes only….
WR B+
QB A-
DL A
IL A-
WR B+
Secondary A
Spec. Teams A
Overall A+ (What an effort against a top 15 program like Clemson)
Absolutely! What was there not to like!?
Go Dawgs! Clempson sux forever!
You've got a good point, G. One more thing: The only punt where Thornton didn't pin them inside the 20 yard line went 57 yards. And what about Arian Smith's catch of Thornton's punt on the fly at about the three yard line!
One could say that special teams only get an A+ if there's a TD return or a turnover. But this was a talented Clemson team, and Evans made good decisions (including a running somewhat risky fair catch that may have prevented a big Clemson bounce).
Special teams deserved an A+. Reasons No one returns Thorsen's punts still, and 55 yard made FG and no mental errors.
Wait… what? UGA puts up 34 points on Clemson (not what they were, but still a major), and NO one gets an "A" on the Offense? Not sure the metrics that are being used here, but I find the assessments to be less than objective...
Hard to give an A to the O when the O laid an egg in the 1st half. 2nd half definitely an A. If the O plays like that vs a team that can score like MS is there enough time to come back in the 2nd half? Remember the slow starts and half time deficits from the '23 season?
UGA has been slow to start offensively under OC CMB. In defense of the 1st half O, UGA had little running game w/#3 RB BRob. He was definitely not ready for that big a role yet. Delp and Yurosek failing to catch a pass hurts the grade as well.
Only thing missing from ST's was an A+ long return.
