Nothing wrong with a charitable mind set toward lesser programs……TT will put up a good effort but in reality it won't come close to an average Georgia practice but TT will have taken the beat down against our 2's, 3's and 4's, made their payday and head back to Cookeville….You'll never convince me that KPS has no say in the schedule after 8 years. If KPS wanted to play Georgia Southern, Mercer, Valdosta St, Georgia St, Savannah St, Albany St…..any other Georgia team, it would happen….and the state of football in Georgia would be better for it!

Some of the games are scheduled out for over a decade in the future. All the smaller schools want to play the Dawgs, Bama, LSU, etc. because it's a big payday and keeps their program afloat. Some of them don't get a major college game every year let alone a high caliber opponent. Schools that have a big fan base and are perennial top 25 teams are better able to pay enough to make a difference to these small schools.

Well, I don't know if Kirby actually spoke to ESPN, but the ESPN announcer said that Kirby told them that Joenel Aguero pulled a hamstring muscle earlier in the week and that's why he wasn't playing. Although the injury occurred during the week, that was the first I had heard of anything being wrong with Aguero. And the fact that the announcers knew his specific injury tells me that it came from SOMEONE within the UGA program, and they said it was Kirby. I know for a fact that in previous years, the TV announcers have been privy to more information than the regular UGA beat reporters, and they usually get that information from when they meet with Kirby a day or two before the game.

There will always be buy games on the schedule. What I don’t understand is why the money needs to go to out of state schools when there are plenty of alternatives in state. In some other states, there is a requirement that in state schools play each other on a rotating basis.

Who really cares if reporters/fans have all injury detail and conformation of source for details. Not me! Not a story worth discussion IMO. If Kirby wants to hold information on players status, (injury, discipline or otherwise) that if fine to keep it inside. Next man up!

It is good to see the local reporters press CKS for information. That is their job. CKS was clearly perturbed by the line of questioning and being pressed on things he didn't want to talk about.

I heard about the ETN suspension and the Aguero injury from sources other than Dawgnation. That alone justifies the question.

As we all know CKS is not always forthcoming and completely truthful in how he communicates with the media. And I am sure he has his favorites he prefers to deal with. He "uses" the media to mislead the opposition and withholds information that he feels the public/competition is not entitled to.

In the reporting business it pays to break news. That is what they are trained to do. It may not matter to you but it matters to them and their livelihood.

UGA should be keeping the money in state. Plenty of programs to play that help in state schools and logistically cost less and make more sense.
