I said we're going to win by at least 21…22 works for me.

I think SC showed the nation why Vandagriff didn’t win the starting QB job at Georgia. Kentucky will play Georgia tough, but they had to be looking ahead and not focused on SC. They obviously thought they would just show up and beat the chickens.

The SC D-line ate the Kentucky O-line alive. Based on that showing, the Dawgs D will have another dominating day.

If you watched the KY-SC tilt, the UGA transfers did nothing to assist KY. B. Vandagriff looked like a fish out of water. He will get better but it takes time and field experience. UGA should cover the spread easily.

I think the KY OL and offensive skill players were more responsible for BVG's game than BVG's skills. Put CBeck in that offense and he doesn’t do much better.

UGA OL gave up 9 sacks last season. KY OL gave up 5 sacks last week.

The wildcats were looking past SC and I suspect we will get a much tougher game come Saturday….I do expect to see BVG start but just like in practice when he was a Dawg, quickly replaced……hoping to witness a real "sack-a-rama" no matter who lines up behind center…..nothing but LOVE for BVG, he was a DGD, graduated and true love lead him to Kentucky as I understand. In my humble opinion, the goal Saturday will be of course to bring home a win but also snuggled up close to it will be to continue our "No TD's defense"…..shutouts also surface…..also tops in the goal department will be to return to The Classic City after a very physical game with no severe injuries and more of our Walking Wounded ready to play Bama in another two weeks!

22 seems too high. Kentucky seems to always give us a good game the last few years.

But not last year (51-13 Dawgs)…..in 2022, it was very cold and raining and we came away with a 16-6 win after having already played Oregon, USCe, Missouri, Auburn, Vanderbilt, UF, Tennessee (when they were ranked #1 for four whole days!) and Miss State.

    Our last eight years have been, 51-13, 16-6, 30-13, 14-3, 21-0, 34-17, 42-13 and 27-24 —all Dawg victories

and we have been playing them as our last SEC game of the year (usually)

Our overall record against them is 60-12-2 with 30-8 being our record in Lexington.

This year we have played a much less tiresome schedule, not as much beatup games and the weather should be much better (although rain may be in the forecast)…..

With Beck, our O-line, TEs, WRs, RBs, and defense a little fresher…..

    I like our chances!!

    Go Dawgs!

Why we still have multiple comment boxes on dawgnation is disappointing. If I was giving out grades the site would get a C+.
