Certainly cannot blame him for transferring to KY. And Vandagriff will be a good QB…if he gets a decent O-line to block for him at KY. We ought to tear up the KY LOS this weekend the way SC was able to do. 3/10 for 30 yards was all he could muster with the poor O-line play. Sacks multiple times and finally taken out of the game late in the 2nd half. I felt like he was in a losing situation. The week before against Southern Miss he played better (12/18), but it was also against a much lesser opponent. Wish him the best.

Not many earn a college degree in 3 years, well done Brock! Can't say I blame him for transferring, he's too good of a QB to be sitting on the bench as would've been the case at UGA.Best of luck in your future, I hope Brock plays, and has a good game. Just not so good it results in a DAWGS loss vs Kentucky..GoDAWGS!

The KY offense is not that good. Brock gave it his all but was ineffective against a fairly tough SC defense and eventually was pulled from the game. He will learn and get better. Do not know if he will start against UGA. Possibly. I do wish him well. Beck will light up the field against KY. Beck is precisely why Brock left UGA.

Why would the program appreciate him? What's the difference between him and everyone else that has transferred? Please tell me!!!!!

Dumas did more for the program and Vandagriff did.... your articles are suspect!!!!

I believe that Vandagriff's situation is a great example of a healthy use of the transfer portal. He stayed and competed for the position (QB) for multiple years, he graduated early from his original school, he genuinely wanted to earn the starting position but it just didn't happen for him, and he has landed with a program that he can contribute to instead of just earning NIL dollars.

Seeing how the Stetson Bennett situation played out, it's not surprising to me that Daniels and Mathis transferred (can't blame them either). No one (other than CKS) predicted that a JUCO transfer was going to out-play every 5-star QB in the nation! I am thankful that Beck and Vandagriff chose to stick it out and compete for the starting position in 2023. Both guys have shown a lot of class and earned a lot of respect from DawgNation!

    GO DAWGS!

Transferring 5 stars are a regular thing at all top-tier recruiting colleges. Every one of them has NFL dreams and you don't get there without tape. Thoroughbreds want to run.

It's a shame that Vandagriff is on a team with such a bad O-line. Maybe SC has an elite D-line, but for whatever reason, Brock was running for his life all game long. I hope Kentucky can improve their offense enough to give Vandagriff a chance.

Your comments are as suspect as the articles you criticize..

Yep, definitely rooting for him even in this game (although not if it is a close game LOL). Nobody should have negative feelings towards him. We always seem to have too many good QBs and not all can stay. He expected Beck to leave early in and didn't expect Bennett, so he had no choice.
