The young and the reckless. Someone will take his spot…

Dismiss this man from the program now and not tomorrow. For the love of God Kirby do something about this insanity of your programs players that are infatuated with their new found money of gold with driving cars to fast, drunk and killing players, staff and then writing millions of dollars worth of money to victims families.

This has got to stop, it's utterly embarrassing, unacceptable, deadly and I say this as a proud UGA alumnus…enough is enough.

Give it a rest. Players have been dismissed. Has that changed anything? No. Your comments make it sound like all 100 or so players are killing staff, players, and driving drunk everyday. Just shut it. You are reacting emotionally over a teenager's driving issues. Let me say again. Its not players getting money that is causing this reckless driving.

The public at large embraces and celebrates driving fast (100 mph on the interstate 70 mph law) and glorifies drinking. But it is also happening when just riding around Athens in broad daylight last weekend before and after the game. I was passed, cut off by drivers going 20 miles per hour over the limit. And being followed so close at high speeds to the point I could not see their front end. I actually had to pull over so that I could get them off my arse. Now, we can drink in the stadium at will. There were more beer selections for sale in my section than soft drinks. Encouraging drinking.

So spare us the sanctimonious diatribe. Not saying the players aren't getting the message but at the same time those criticizing them like you are Hypocrites. It is a culture problem in the US that is happening on interstates, local roads, small state roads, etc. People are constantly writing letters to editors in newspapers disgusted with the aggressive, dangerous driving by SOBER folks. Start with the adults giving a better example for the youth and our team. Otherwise, your opinion doesn't mean squat.

Billy…enough is enough blaming all of our team for the actions of a few. But hey…they do what they see Dawg.

The whole team DOES NOT DESERVE To Be Thrown Under the Bus by an "alumnus" or anyone else!

The key is a stiff NIL fine…..I'd say to start 10% but the message does not seem to be resonating so maybe 50 t0 100% might just get the warranted attention…..maybe ACCP will also help by suspending his DL for 6 months to a year. Maybe it's time the SEC step in and formulate a punishment as well?????

More examples of how ACCPD is the only department in Georgia that routinely arrests people for traffic violations. They've been doing this nonsense ever since I was a student in the early 90's, and they've never changed.

Edit: I mean, seriously. If the bail is freaking $50.00, you know the arrest was nonsense.

Time to send a real message, enough of this b s. Suspend him for half of the season and let everyone know the next offense will be suspension for the season. Enough is enough.

So the cop just assumed he wasn’t wearing a seat belt! 🙄

It’s getting a bit tiresome, isn’t it? The “young and reckless” thing doesn’t even really hold up much, considering the amount of times this has happened with young men on this team. It’s more like “young and refusing to accept reality.”

Dang, am I starting to sound like a grumpy old man!

It's time to start making the whole team..…EVERYONE to start being punished with stadium steps or ladders after practice on top of individual punishments and let the team self police each other....oh and fire the entire fast and furious department
