Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

ATHENS — Most everyone agrees that “buy games” between power conference teams and Group of Five or FCS opponents are a necessity.

Hey Mike, is this really a one sentence article? Go Dawgs!!!
Mike, words cost next to nothing…. What is the story?
Yet another article compose of nothing more than a title.
Thanks Mike for the rest of the article. It’s interesting how there is such a disparity in payments. Example: UGA paying UMass 1.9 million vs Tenn Tech $550,000. I really don’t get anymore excited playing UMass over Tenn Tech so I’m not sure why we pay one over 3 times more than the other. Go Dawgs!!!
I think the more interesting story is why teams like UGA pay schools outside of Georgia to fill up the schedule. Why not keep the funds in state? Between Georgia Southern, Kennesaw, Georgia State and Mercer, there are more than enough opponents.
I was thinking the same thing about the difference in payments. Mike Griffith, how about an article to explain the price difference payments. Just one more thing, please edit your articles. Northern Illinois was not a 28 point favorite vs ND.
@BubbaBill Sorry for the computer glitch!
