It was a typically bruising, close Saturday night battle for the Dawgs in Lexington.

Good article Bill! Just clean up this line of stats you gave so it makes sense and is factually correct:

"The Dawgs now have won 42 consecutive regular season games, an ongoing school record; 28 consecutive regular season games, another ongoing school record; and 16 consecutive true road games, also an ongoing school record."

The TEs have to step it up. Weather it's blocking or getting open they must improve. Love my Dawgs but last night was bad. The offense looked overwhelmed. The play calling was unimaginative again. They all have to do better.

Kirby is the greatest ever. I just wonder though, if as in golf when your last thought is not to hit in the water & you end up doing just that, if all the talk about Kentucky being so hard on the road doesn’t turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

What about turning that into a more positive message for preparation instead of the negative perspective. Mabye he does behind closed doors.

Bobo’s play calling remains highly predictable. And our game, like many others I watched yesterday, was almost unwatchable due to the large number of flags & officials' confusion with what should be routine between play procedures.

Before Todd Monken, Kirby was Mark Richt. After Todd Monken, Kirby is Mark Richt. Kirby will have the best defense, but Bobo is predictable and bland. Get ready for UGA football where we lose 1 or 2 games a year. We will lose to Bama in two weeks.

Maybe CKS has sold his team so hard that it's tough to play in KY, they believe him. THe last two trips into KY by South Carolina has seen SC outscore KY 55-20. Maybe Shane didn't get the memo from Kirby? THe Tide rolled into KY and laid down a cool 49 points on them. HEck even Vanderbilt went into KY and handed them a loss racking up 24 points. Tennessee has scored 33 points on them at Kroger Field. Maybe we need to stop scaring these kids with the Boogy-man story..

Slow developing plays and screen passes do not work when your opponent is playing pressure defense. At least while failing to block.
