If the players and coaches are half as sick of hearing about this as I am, they're going to come out looking to shut a lot of people up.
Yarrrrgh! Mr. Adams!!! Why would you say “escape” to discuss how we walk away from Tuscaloosa?!?! That’s already setting a tone, man. Maybe just start with something neutral, like “leave”? Considering some of your more recent posts, I know you’re not ready to call it one way or the other, but language like that suggests you are (sorry, but it’s the English teacher in me), and that you’re not terribly hopeful.
*note: I wrote this immediately after hearing that, so well before you finished the idea out. That doesn’t change my point re: the language, though.

*Edit: so it does seem like you’re favoring UGA for that game, which is nice. That expression still just seems to suggest otherwise. On a different note, there’s one thing your analysis re: points required doesn’t take into account, and that’s how much those earlier defenses were allowing compared to what we are right now. That being said, I hope we DO hang 35, 40, 45 on the Tide, but I’m super hopeful that a winning score won’t require nearly as much.
