Even though the initial comments were made by Jalen Milroe back in December, Georgia players haven’t forgotten what Milroe said after the Alabama quarterback beat Georgia 27-24 in last year’s SEC championship game.

@navydawg I'm with you there, but based on the last 3 weeks of the season the refs are worse than they've ever been. Shouldn't be that way but they've had some horrible calls that affected outcomes of games. We can only hope. If the flags are flying early and often in the secondary, that's not going to bode well.

I 🙏 our Dawgs do not get embarrassed.

Frustrating to see the Kentucky game for the second time.

Offense, you MUST control the game and not give the Bama offense a short field.

No turnovers; No quick 3 and outs, give your awesome defense a chance to keep you in the game.

And one last thing, you need to score points and be efficient in the red zone.

17 points ain’t gonna cut it in this one-I predict at least 25 to 28 minimum to win this one.

No down vote here! ...whatever the reason, I think it's factual Alabama has had an officiating edge for several of those five losses.

I also ran into an LSU guy a few months ago that used to be affiliated with Bama football. He told me something which was a surprise (I'd never heard it anywhere): Saban suspended the Tide's drug testing permanently a long time back. It's one thing not to have one, but a whole different thing to take an existing program and shut it down, IMHO. You can see it reflected in this commentary from Saban:

    https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2016/06/nick_saban_questions_ncaa_drug.html

It's not dissimilar from the well-known practice of the Tuscaloosa PD taking players they arrest to Saban before (if?) they get booked.

Net-net: I agree with you @navydawg. Even cutting corners on one or two items that most others enforce can give a substantial advantage over time... and I'm glad UGA is a team that plays by the rules (and enforces them) even if it makes winning that much harder.

I add this to Saban throwing his own players under the bus after losses and his obvious working of the NCAA as a consistent trend. Yes, he's the GOAT, but I'll take Kirby's leadership behaviors over Nick's seven days a week, twice on Sunday 😁

Wow !!! Saban shut down drug testing !!! I’m surprised but then again Not surprised !! He didn’t get to be GOAT without cutting some corners. Go Dawgs !!
