All around, Kirby has done a very poor job of coaching. He has to take responsibility for Bobo , and his defense stunk as well. No more bad first halves.

Article hits the nail good! IDK why the staff is reluctant to use young players. Whatever, he gets paid the dough….I'm just "arm chair" coaching 😝

Bobo may be a go-go if things don't get more creative IMO

Smart does a great job recruiting, but every year the best 5-stars sign with Alabama, not Georgia. These are the players that enabled Bobo and Beck to beat themselves, with a little help from Schumann. Smart needs to watch the classic movie, "Twelve O'Clock High" to see what happens when the commander gives his friends too much slack…

Great analogy, great flick. I fear that we are handcuffed to Bobo because of his friendship with Smart. Bobo hasn't called a good first half in, well, as long as I can remember and he's under-developed Beck.

With the game on the line, Colbie Young made almost no effort to catch or knock down the poorly thrown last minute pass from Beck. This sealed our fate. Poor efforts like this were the difference in the ballgame.

The lack of talented, ready to play freshmen is not our problem. CKS has to accept that what he's doing isn't working consistently. Change is necessary. It's his responsibility to recognize that and make the necessary changes.

    Go Dawgs!

Kirby is a very good coach. Great coaches make changes when necessary. Add some Offensive Coaching talent. OLine coach and maybe a offensive innovator as an analyst.

Found this comment from someone who was at the game posted on the Film Guy's channel on YouTube. Supposedly from 2 former UGA players of course. Sorta poorly written but the take away for me was the last phrase.

I was at the game Saturday my husband and I was sitting with Charles Grant and Champ Bailey they said Carson second third round at best the first half they can block Alabama defensive line in the Run game two NFL players said that you looking at a tape Georgia lost the game lack of discipline poorly coach team Saturday night

its one game! Let it go, move on. We got Auburn this week, got to get our lips unpooched and get ready for another slobber knocker. I suspect much was learned and corrected after last Saturday.

As I previously mentioned, we have a serious and fundamental problem getting and keeping Elite WRs. Remember, McConkey was a 3 star coming out of HS. If we had players like Starks but at Wide Receiver, maybe some of those incomplete passes & interceptions could have been big plays?

That tells me that there is a fundamental problem in giving them what they want… which is probably playing time. I understand not playing a true Freshman QB, but at WR? If Bama and others do it, why can we not? I suspect stubbornness and refusal to adapt.

Smart seems to recruit well but really don't see anyone that stands out on this current roster. Is there a gem out there? As Stetson Bennett would say “It's not the X's and O's, it's the Jimmys and the Joes”

THe fastest guy on both teams never set foot on the field Saturday. WHy? He is a freshman.
