If you want the crowd fired up have a team that plays fired up. The crowd looked and sounded like the team. They aren't hunting. They are being hunted and reacting.

Me thinks @MikeGriffith is not so good at this “Stock up, Stock down” article thing.

    Mike Bobo, up?

    Dan Jackson, down?

Or are you just messing with us fans, MG, to get clicks and comments?

I think that must be it.

Nice one, you almost had me!

2 big issues with this take (and it is a bit like rinse and repeat from some of the other comments).

1). How is there no mention, and it should be stock continually climbing, of Tyrion Ingrams Dawkins?! To me, he is the most consistent and dominant member of the D-line and had what looked like a great game. 2 sacks, and it should've been 3.

2). Take on Dan Jackson. I'm completely gobsmacked you have him as stock down. He is an absolute anchor and with the exception of one really bad angle on a tackle, he is very consistent. Absolutely no worse than stock even, and a very strong argument could be made for stock up.

My challenge with Beck is my expectations vs. his output. I'm sure there is an issue with my expectations, but all of the preseason talk, the fight over NIL, constant praise from Kirby, etc. led me to believe he was locked in and would be dominant. He isn't close to being dominant and even against Auburn, he didn't look much more than a good game manager.

Would love to see A LOT more of Humphreys and some more of Frazier. I definitely don't want to see Frazier take any snaps from Etienne but he sure could take some from Robinson.

It's been reported by someone who knows someone that CB is dealing with some type of injury. Not enough to keep him out but just to where he's not 100% Something that effects his mechanics and throwing motion. Good example was on the throw about 20 yards over the middle that CB left way short. Announcers talked about it.

Vandy did something against BAMA that we haven't been able to do. Run the ball. THeir quircky triple option kept BAMA just enough off balanced where they could get 3-4 yards pretty regularly. Then they would throw in a pass for good measure evey now and then. THey ran it 2 times to every throw they made and controlled the clock to where they had the ball almost 3 times longer than BAMA. Imagine us doing that and who would win? THey were more physical than BAMA. THey converted 12-16 3rd downs! Mostly by running! Imagine us doing that. I can't. It definitely helps having a running QB and a passionate one at that! BAMA to some extent faced a version of itself. A team with a tough as nails QB who wanted it more than they did. I would love to see that kind of determination coming from our team straight out of the gate.

Kirby complaining about the fans Saturday. I didn't think it was a bad crowd from watching it on TV, more like a normal crowd. I was watching the guys as they were warming up pregame too. DIdn't see alot of excitement coming from them. Business as usual looked like to me. I was hoping for just a little more. Go DAWGS!

No one is saying Jackson is All SEC. What is being said is, there is no way he should have been rated as down. Especially when the rest of the DBs are playing at a much lower level.

Georgia's problems across the board for all games not just the Auburn game

QB play: C- (Beck does not need to worry about a trip to NYC); Kentucky & Alabama games were atrocious; duh!! is he hurt?

RB play: D (no juice, no blocking); Nate Frazier (freshman) looks hungry; I would give him the nod over Etienne at this point

WR play: B- (sure do miss Ladd); Dillon Bell is saving their hides so far; Smith needs better hands; Lovett needs to be better; are injury issues being masked?

TE play: C- (yeah, BB spoiled all of us); Luckie showing spark (hope his shoulder is a quick mend)

    OL play: D

DL play: F not enough junkyard dawg meaness; the blocked FG was a start

LB play: D the edges are especially vulnerable; if the opponent has speed, we're chasing dust

Secondary play: C- (too much toasting going on; need to tighten up); Dan Jackson playing like the veteran he is

Special Teams: A- (the punt was our best play during the first half of Alabama game; Woodring has been solid; not sold on Evans)

Coaching Staff: D- preparation and game day readiness continue to elude all from Smart to Bobo to Schumann to Robinson to Williams (and others that are unmentioned). The Dawgs just do not seem to be functioning as units. I attribute that to players not executing and coaching staffs not getting the TEAM ready for the next game.

Beck looks like he is playing hurt. He is also playing behind an inferior (to UGA '23 OL) OL. And no Brock Bowers. Even when Bowers wasn't the intended target he opened up space for other UGA receivers.

The '24 UGA O is a shell of the '23 O. DEdwards and KMilton (when healthy) were tough runners. ETN is small. Frazier is a freshman and apparently cannot be trusted yet. BRob's choppy running style seems like he is running in place. He takes 4 steps to take one step forward. He could still be recovering from his '23 injury but I don't see him ever being more than RB3/4 in a UGA rotational backfield.

Been saying it all year. Guys gotta step up. Bell, LHumphrey, Luckie all need more targets on O. On D the list of players playing up to expectations is a lot shorter than the players not playing up to expectations. I can only think of maybe 2 players on D playing up to expectations. 93 and 78. And their expectations were not 1st team "All SEC".

First… the comment section continues to be super bugged… posts appear in triplicate? WTH? This has been ongoing for over a month.

Second, you think ‘Dirty Dan’s’ stock is down??? Sorry, my friend, that is entirely off base, IMHO.

Seen the Joel guy whiff on tackles. Not Dan Jackson. Of all the back end of our defense I can count on one guy to strike a WR/TE and that's Dan Jackson. Like somone said, he may not be all SEC but he wasn't even supposed to start by some pundits accounts.,,n= but he's not a problem. He certainly isn't the guy that allowed Willliams for BAMA to waltz into the endzone with 2 minutes left.
