Football is about match-up's and with the injuries to the Dawgs D-line and pass rushers, paired with the injuries and youth in the secondary, it looks like a bad match-up against Texas. I think it will be up to the offense in this one. GOOODAWGS!

Texas will be looking at the Miss State game probably more than any games we played so far. The defense needs to on alert. Right now, it's a weakness.

Bill, I'm still not sure what to make of this team. We haven't played a complete 60-minutes worth of really good football since the Clemson game. We have struggled in every game since then other than TN Tech. We look good at times and then absolutely awful many other times. We have shown no consistency on either side of the ball, and I can't blame it all on injuries.

Where are the leaders? It's very telling when Kirby says in the post game interview that HE is the one that is trying to fire up his players on the sidelines, begging them to get with the program. Why is Kirby doing that when there should be leaders on both offense and defense getting in the face of the players and bringing the fire???

We have the highest paid coaching staff in the nation and have recruited in the Top 3 the past several years, but you wouldn't know it by the way we are playing football.

And a shoutout to Brandon Adams - I do appreciate what Kirby has done for the Georgia football program, but I don't appreciate the way we are winning and losing games this season. As a alumni and fan, I have every right to be disappointed in our efforts and the way we are playing. So don't bash the fans for being upset.

lousy game by a very unremarkable team that looked like it was just “going through the motions. Beck’s total lack of leadership is a big problem. Our former great asst coaches have all cycled out and what is left is mediocre or less. The day of reckoning will be next Saturday wher the Dawgs of 2024 will be exposed as nowhere near elite in spite of overflowing talend. The fans will cheer loudly when Smart’t team gives the something to cheer about.

Lanning at Oregon (and killing it). Dell McG at GSU (improving). Fran Brown off to Syracuse (killing it). Kirby screaming at Schumann must be getting old. Faulkner off to GaTech. Bobo is OK (I think), but others (Sarkasian for one) are better. The O-line regression under Searles. Then toss in the injuries along the d-line in an era of less depth due NIL+portal. Kirby has a staff issue IMO. On top of that, I can't tell if players are holding each other accountable. If something doesn't click quickly, it's going to be a long night in Austin.

Carson needs to trade in the Lamborghini for a VW. That company may lie about the mileage, but it's much more affordable for someone who appears to have no higher status than "practice squad" at the next level.

Bobo can't read the defenses he's facing until he's had time to think it over at halftime.
