ATHENS — One of the opening lines to Meek Mill’ Dreams and Nightmares goes, “I used to pray for times like this, to rhyme like this. So I had to grind like that to shine like this.”

In general, a solid article, and I think spot-on about UGA's and CB's prospects coming out of this game... while not technically a "must win" game, it's darn close, and opinions on Sunday will likely be exaggerated, whether it's a win or a loss on Saturday night.

I was not surprised by the Kentucky or Bama games (though Miss. State game DID surprise me, and not in a good way). They are the only two games where close-ups of Carson during play in the first quarter you saw a hint of fear on his face… UK was the first time I'd ever seen that. I do wonder if CKS is using scare tactics to motivate too much and/or if the new mic-ed-up QB-to-coach connection may be counter productive.

However, the most exciting thing for me in this article is CB's quote: “But I think that’s something that I’ve been working on, is trying to be more positive and show my energy and enthusiasm, show confidence in the guys around me when we do do well, and, you know, instill positive energy into them.” This makes me excited!!! It's been the one thing post-SBIV this team has been missing (injuries aside). I actually am kinda optimistic for Saturday if CB has pulled this off.

Go Dawgs... let's see CB LEAD us to a victory in Austin!

Oh, and PS: "embattled Kirby Smart" my hind quarters. This is pure click-bait and just adding fuel to what was barely a flame. Can we drop amping that up on this site, please?

Why doesn't DawgNation fix this crappy comments section and it's errors? Guess comments are not important to them.

Couldn't care less about Beck's statistics or really what makes him tick at this point. I care about the Georgia Bulldogs beating the Texas Longhorns Saturday night. In order to accomplish that, Beck will need to ditch the nervousness, actively lead the offensive unit to a fast start, run the plays faster, and be extremely accurate. My hopes and prayers are with him, but he will need to dig deep to push himself harder than ever while physically providing stout leadership. This is a pivotal game for the program and for Beck, personally…. Go Do It.

Man I have no clue where you get your material from. This is not UGA first time playing a #1 since 2009. If memory serves me correctly UGA played then #1 Tenn. just a couple years ago. Come on man get it together!!

@SR_JR it depends on the poll - in the case of 2022, TN was # 1 in the CFP standings, but not the others. The stat here relates to the traditional polls. I will say it's hard to recall the last true road game vs a #1 in any case.

All this lacking feels richt-ish...I wonder why
