Another bad game for Beck and the refs but the D came to play. They were the difference.
Wow what a game….refs had it in for the Dawgs but no matter…Dawgs eat. We will also lose two top contributors for half game Nov 2 for "targeting"? Come on. Next team up FL looked very good Saturday against KY, but no match for UGA. The UGA defense rocks!!!
I don't know where to post this, so I am doing it here. Both of the "targeting" calls came against ball carriers who also lowered their helmets and shoulders anticipating being tackled. Exactly what responsibility does the ball carrier have in this situation. If you have to "avoid" helmet contact with them, after you have already started your move to make the tackle, no one would get tackled. Might as well go to flag football. Soon there will be "drills" about how to "draw" a targeting call, just like learning how to to get a "charging" call in basketball.
I’ve seen tons of bad officiated games but this is the worst since the 2018 NC game (2017) season). The amount of no calls on bama in that game was ridiculous. Flagged calls that aren’t reviewable can NOT be overturned once the head official (I use that term very, very loosely) makes the call. The meeting of those people should happen before the call is announced.
Since they did that, let’s go back and get the call reversed since Tyler Simmons was definitely NOT offsides.
That botched call wasn’t the only one either. The replay person should be fined, too. Totally unacceptable that those calls weren’t reversed.

You really wish there wasn’t so much noise around the Insanely garbage officiating (although well deserved) and more about JW and the defensive play along with Etienne. This was the healthiest the defense has been since the Clemson game and it really shows how complimentary the DAWGS defense truly is. If the D line is low, that increases pressure on coverage and there tend to be breakdowns. I believe what we saw last night is the true DAWG defense just like we saw against Clemson.

College Game Day is a joke. I quit watching it last season. Desmond always picks Michigan. Theguest picker always picks his school. McAfee is a jerk of the highest order. Cordon is in cognitive decline. Saban is on commercials apparently because he needs even more money. Herbie is the best they have, but totally a Big 10 homer. Davis can’t shed his Bama bias. Watch that crap? No thanks!
