Williams is great, but paired with walker, they are fantastic. Having someone spy that qb, and run him down when flushed - it looked like that Denver Broncos team from a few years back with those super Defensive ends. They took over the game. You can bet teams will be scheming to deal with those two.

Off topic but still think Coach Prime is overrated @MikeGriffith? You seemed a bit perturbed over his getting more press than Dan Lanning last year even though one guy took over a long established powerhouse - one whose even their worst recent hire, Mark Helfrich, got them to the 2014 national title game - and the other a program that has had 4 winning seasons in 20 years (with 2 of those being 8-5 and 7-6 seasons in 2004 and 2005 and #3 being a 4-2 "season" in 2020).

Other than Brock Bowers it sure would be nice to see some UGA 5* players do more than 1) play special teams with minor contributions on O or D in year1. 2) regress or get injured with only occasional significant contributions in year 2. 3) be on a hit or miss rollercoaster of inconsistent contributions in year 3. 4) go to the NFL after year 3.

It sure would be nice to see some UGA 5* players dominate game in and game out for a whole season (or 2) before skipping off to the NFL.

CFB is a QB league. One of your coaches has 2 players (QB, WR/DB) expected to be in the top 5 of the next NFL draft. Yet he is a .500 coach, at CO, with those players. To compare CO pre-Deion to CO w/Deion bringing in 60 transfer players a year is a weak argument.

The other coach has won 86% of his games w/o a Top 5 talent at QB and WR/DB.

Being a CFB coach is hard work. 24/7/365. To be great it takes everything you have all the time. Deion was a natural….as a player. He has not demonstrated that he is built to work that hard, year after year.

Deion is a figurehead coach. Revered in certain circles. His assistant coaches are doing all the lifting. He is there to get his son's every advantage to get to the league. He is not a long term college football coach. His ultimate goal is to bamboozle some NFL owner (Jerry Jones) into naming him HC and them getting his sons on his team and laughing all the way to the bank.
