Carson Beck is throwing 3 ints a game now, it seems. Quarterback play hasn't been this mediocre and bad since Grayson Lambert.
Beck has lost his MOJO and is costing this team. He's had plenty of time to "fix" the issues and decision making but has made little progress. Beck is not our best option right now. Gunner needs to have a chance at starting. That's the bottom line.
Carson stats look almost good until you hit the ubiquitous 3 interceptions, letting FL back in the game. Bench Carson a game or partial game.
I really am sorry to have to say this but I clinch my teeth and my whole body tightens up with anxiety every time Beck throws the ball. I don’t have anything personal against Beck he seems like a good person.
But he has lost his edge on being a good less alone great QB. His INTs make it an uphill climb for the team. Truth be known Dawgs should have beat Bama, Beck played a Big part in that loss. Kirby should put Gunner in, at a Minimum it’d give Gunner quality playing time to groom him for next year. That’s at a minimum, I believe Gunner could give this team the Offensive spark they need. Go Dawgs !!
Yeah. I never played QB when I played football but everytime they show a replay of his interceptions, that didn't bounce off a receivers's hand, I can't help but wonder what he is seeing. Half of those ints are horrible.
The noise is getting loud for Carson Beck to ride the pine until he finds consistency. You can't spot a quality opponent a half of football, i.e. Bama or potential playoff contenders. CKS's making 13 Mil a year, Beck 1.8 Mil with all his #1 projections in the NFL draft and his **** Lamborghini. I'm sick of hearing about Beck's potential. Put up or put him on the pine until he can do what he's paid to do. It may not be all his fault but you have to start somewhere, CKS, you need to set an example….
Beck's body language on the bench was terrible. The "oh, woe is me" head shaking. Hard to be a leader when sitting all by yourself pouting. Not sure what the hell Kirby is playing at. If Gunner can't play better than that, we are in real trouble.
