Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

3 things: Kirby Smart’s puts Georgia poise on display in face of daunting Ole Miss challenge
ATHENS — Kirby Smart stood before the Georgia football world on Monday with the poise and assuredness of a pilot who has landed many planes in many storms.

Etienne is the only transfer that's been worth his weight in gold. Honestly, the rest of the guys we could have easily lived without. I'd say the Rebels got much more real use out of the portal than the Dawgs.
The Rebels are tied for 5th in Red Zone defense as well. Dawgs are ranked 65th. How pivotal will Red Zone stops be in Oxford?
Sounds like Kiffen has embraced the NFL farm club system and his hired a bunch of mercenaries to dress out in Ole Miss uniforms this years. Over time, this is bound to destroy what has been the beauty of college football. It has been destroyed by liberal law and judges. Once Humpty Dumpty falls, he will never be able to be put back together again.
Although Kirby has filled a few holes with transfers, and has used NIL to keep talented players whose values prioritize money over loyalty and family, he has admirably keep the magic of college football intact.
Although I never know which Carson Beck will show up next week, I hope he can get together, that his receivers won't drop all his passes, and that we embarrass the Ole Miss Mercenaries in Oxford and also the smart aleck Lane Kiffen who is a mercenary opportunist himself.

Good grief! Please do not use the word Heisman in any sentence linked to Beck. He needs that completely out of his head so he can actually play the game we know he can without the extra distraction of him THINKING about how he plays.
