Kirby Smart shares injury update on Trevor Etienne, Georgia offensive linemen
OXFORD, Ms. — Georgia’s offense had just 10 points in the loss to Ole Miss.

I hate to say this, but we are not a playoff caliber team. We cannot run the ball. 2 of our 5 running backs haven't seen the field in weeks due to injury. One running back is hanging on a thread. Our offensive line is anemic. Beck has been pressing trying to carry the team and making mistakes. Our receivers other than Lovett can't catch a cold. 2 of our top receivers have been kicked off the team. We have no explosive play makers. God bless Arian Smith. He's fast but has marginal hands. Our defense is hanging on for dear life. They are trying hard. I expect the wheels to roll off the bus next week. And even if they don't, unless we get a better offensive line and some skill players to step up, we won't go deep into this end of the year run. Poor Ernest Greene looks like the Statue of Liberty trying to block. I can see he is discouraged.
what we learned about our LBs, CJ Allen is so slow and cannot cover at all! Let’s just try Justin Williams just to see if he can run faster…our defense looks so slow
Kirby said it all with the “Everybody’s got injuries” comment. Not that I wish serious injuries on anyone, but I didn’t realize that the Rebs top two RBs were out until game time. When I saw that I thought we might have a decent chance.
Then when Dart went down and their backup QB came in I thought Wow now the Dawgs are Really in this thing. But then he drives the Rebs down the field with eaze.
Speaking for Me even considering the injuries there are some Serious Coaching problems at UGA. Our players just don’t seem very well prepared as a whole. There are Some better than others, but as a Team they just look unprepared. I sure Hope they will be ready for a hungry Vols team. Don’t want to be embarrassed on the Home field !! Go Dawgs !!
Just imagine how bad they would have beaten our team if they were at full strength.
How about focusing on offensive recruiting?
