What does this say about how unprepared or bad the backup QBs are? So the starting QB that’s only started less than 2 years and was beaten out in practice by a walk on QB three years ago is the absolute best Georgia has right now? Stockton or the others can’t be that bad. Probably more that Kirby is only loyal to one position on the team, the QB that he named the starter.
I hope I’m wrong, but probably not.

To the end! Gunner warrants a chance . Start him and see,,,,can it be worst than the last game? Pro pitchers are pulled when they are flat, no disgrace, they all have bad nights.

Everyone lucky enough to make the game be loud, show them the 12th man....they won't hear me, but everyone within a mile will! Go Dawgs!

The Constitution must have a GaTech freshman maintaining the Daug Nation site. Get a UGA geek and fix this thing!!

Did we mqke qny considered effort to at least consider Aaron Philo as a QB for UGA? Here is a kid with more passing yards than any high school QB in state history and located only 5 miles from our campus. He appears light years ahead of what I have seen from CB this year and with multiple years to come as the Yellow Jacket signal caller.😕

this whole situation has echoes of Fromm and Fields. With this behavior Kirby is exhibiting, he must feel he handled that one well.

I don’t want a new qb, I I want a clear cut leader on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. I had hopes for CJ Allen because he looked the part in that number 3 and played extremely well last year but he has been a nonissue for our opponents. no one….. and I mean no one has stepped up on the offensive side of the ball to be the leader and that’s alarming. The o-line needs snatched into shape and all of these drops need addressed, both issues need addressed by players not the coaches.

To Nathan 1942 you are absolutely correct about something has changed and it definitely has. For one thing and I just found out about this is that Beck now has a girlfriend so now he has a distraction from football that he didn't have before, I don't know how much it is influencing his life but it is some. I don't know anything about her an hope that they have a very good relationship, BUT it is still a distraction. As far as the rest of the team goes "GET YOUR S%#T TOGETHER" and play Dawg football.

I bet Earnest Greene has a sore shoulder—it comes from the wind of all those DEs running around him to pressure Beck! I don't think the majority of the people on here are advocating a new starter, they just want some QB play from some of our others. I too don't understand why Kirby doesn't ever play any other QB in any situation. Doesn't he want them to have SOME game experience?

Just asking for a friend……could Kirby's blind loyalty to CB be part of the NIL offer to get CB back for another year???? Did Kirby promise never to pull CB….thinking on how well he played last year that it would never come up???? The DARK cloud that is building on the horizon is that if CB doesn't get it together in these last three games…..ie: No INT's/Fumbles and several passing TD's…..He'll almost have to come back for another year to improve/fish his NFL draft status out of the toilet.

Remember, I'm just asking for a friend….who's a Michigan grad and lust after Gunner….prayin he'll hit the TP and come save BIG BLUE next year…..I tell her that while they are at it, they need a HC, OC, and DC.

Yep. Though as I’ve stated I’ve got some built in bias as I’m a Gunner Stockton fan. I’m Always Team First !! It’s possible we Might have a very good QB as a walk on. Ginn was tearing it up in AAA HS football.

And also there’s Drake. I’m very excited and hopeful about Stockton for next year. BUT if he’s not cutting the mustard Pull Him Out !! Team First !!

This is the one thing that separates Saban from Kirby. Kirby is loyal to a default, we saw this with Eason, Fromm, Fields, and JT Daniels. The only reason Fromm started was because Eason happened to get hurt in the first game, even though he was playing really bad. Fromm struggled his last year and Kirby would never would put in Fields, unless it was to run or do some special teams BS. Daniels was struggling our championship year and only got replaced by Stetson, you guessed it, by an injury. There is a common theme here and Kirby is being soft in this stance and not doing what is best for the team.

Now look at Saban and mostly against UGA. The 2017 NCG he benched Hurts for Tua and we lost. In the SECCG the next year, he benched Tua for Hurts and we lost. Way back in 2015 he benched Jake Coker after the loss to Ole Miss but came back and won them the NC that year. His last year coaching, Milroe played poorly and he benched him for the UCF game and then he came back and led them to the playoffs.

Kirby has changed since his first year of saying all jobs are not safe or guaranteed and now he doesn't want to hurt his players feelings and do what might be best for the team in the long run. It will start and end with Kirby and his stubborness.
