Again, I'm not going to complain as anything is better than just the top 4 teams playing but it is kinda interesting. So Oregon is considered the best team in the nation after beating Wisconsin by a FG as well as beating Ohio State by 1 and Boise State by 3, but Tennessee is out?

now we are debating the merits of a BCS type of system, which most of us thought needed some more eye test input. Funny how the only true answer is just to start the year with three rival games and then begin the playoffs with all 150 FBS teams.

I'm fine with not playing in the SEC Championship game as long as we make the playoffs. Hell it has worked for bama several times in the past.

All you have to do is look at the SEC schedules. The SEC wanted to make sure Texas and Alabama had cakewalks into the SECCG and the playoffs and to give it a sense of legitimacy had both of them play the Dawgs at home. There was no way they could predict Vandy would upset the apple cart but made **** sure it wouldn’t be the Dawgs! The SEC Championship has been rendered meaningless unless a team needs the win to make the playoffs. All that matters to the SEC elite teams is the natty!

Mafioso tactics and 3rd grade math. What a joke.
