@ConnorRiley Looks like you and I are the only one’s still up !! 😀 Thanks for clearing that up Connor, so it’s Still between TX and TAMU who the Dawgs play in the SECCG. I wrongly thought that with TAMU losing tonight we’d play TX. I Think I’m happy about it but I’m not really sure. Lose and we’re out of the playoffs. Well gotta get past GT first. One game at a time and let the chips fall where they may. Thx again Connor !! Go Dawgs !!
I’d rather have a first round home playoff game. Not excited about the possibility of getting a third loss in the title game and not making the playoffs.
Go Dawgs! Wreck tech!
The Volunteers lost to Georgia 31-17 and have one of the worst cumulative conference winning percentages. Even with six games remaining, the Volunteers will not be able to surpass Georgia in that regard.
Tennesissy has 6 games remaining? I think Connor broke out the good stuff before writing this article! 🤣
Anyway, congrats Dawgs!
GO DAWGS!
BEAT WHOEVER YOU PLAY!
This 12 team playoff is ridonculous.
oh, and UT does not have 6 games left to play. 🙄🤦♂️
💩
As long as the Dawgs beat tech, there is no way they would get left out of the playoff with a loss in the SECCG given their resume. I'll admit I wasn't wanting this path, but now that they are in, LFG Dawgs!
I believe he meant that there are six SEC games to be played next week and no matter the outcome the teams that win would not contribute enough to Tennessee’s opponent’s winning percentage to have it surpass Georgia’s opponent’s winning percentage
Go Dawgs!
Let’s do it Dawgs!! It’s never to early to hate Tech!
I think what he meant was that there are still 6 conference games left to be played (among all sec teams), which will affect the opponents' cumulative conference winning percentages of all teams.
Hi Conor, Don't we have to look at UT and ATM's opponents' cumulative winning percentages as well if all 4 teams end up with 2 conference losses? If UT and ATM are both ahead of us in that tie breaker, wouldn't they be playing in the SECC, or is ATM is also already assured to be ahead of UT on that?
But all in all, who would've thought we can still play in the SECC after we lost that Ole Miss game, even if we don't even want to be in it. What a wild season this is.
Here are the six tiebreakers, per the SEC:
Based on this, if Texas A&M beats Texas, then A&M is in and UGA wins the tiebreaker against Texas based on head-to-head. If Texas wins, then A&M will have 3 losses and UGA and Texas are in.
Snap,Ding, Dong Spin……The Dawgs are in…..really wishin we get to play TAMI but my "reality gravity machine" is keeping my brain between my ears and my feet soundly planted on Mother Earth, so it'll be The Longhorns again……Looks like Coach DeBore failed to get the Tide prepared for the zero humidity in Norman as the Okies completely dried up Bama Tide Roll like a fossilized pachyderm……geezzzz, guess last nights "pooch love fest" puts Milroe's trip to NY in serious jeopardy…..note to Jalen, only GREAT QB's can throw 3 picks and still win….NO MATTER, I'm still rootin for TAMI…..before next week, might want to check with Major Hoople about that 12th man!!!!!
Dawg Brother, where is your faith…..there will be at least 2-4 SEC teams in the CFP…..stands to reason that 2 of those teams will be the best two that play for the SEC Conference Championship….I really believe the "committee" will select one more SEC team……they know that the top 6 SEC teams could/would beat any other team in the B1G, ACC or those other pretender conferences…….at any rate, the only focus is on how to stop the Buster/Bumblebee run attack that's headed our way…worked well last year and given the tapes from UMass it's coming……The Dawgs "Texas" D better show up or it's up to Carson, our receivers and Nate & company to out score the North Avenue Trade School.
Happy we won—with a cringe worthy defensive effort. Do that in another game and we'll be home for the playoffs.
DAWGS vs. everybody! LFG DAWGS!
Just beat whoever shows up and go on to the next game. This is some serious fun for all Dawg fans.
