The Dawgs CAN beat Texas again, but the Longhorns clearly are playing better football right now - especially on the LOS. They will be VERY motivated to revenge their only loss of the regular season.

    What's our motivation?

No matter what the outcome of the game is, the Dawgs MUST not get blown out and steamrolled. An embarrassing loss could definitely kick us out of the playoffs depending on how other teams fared.

Dawgs control their own destiny and simply need to play up to their potential with the best version of themselves. Beat the Longhorns and get a BYE in the playoffs.

Yep. Need to Win. Or at a bare minimum make it a super close score. Win is much more preferable. How much if Any will familiarity with the field help the Dawgs ? Kirby has been on it numerous times, Some of his current players have played on it.

Correct me if I’m wrong on this but TX has never played on it that I know of. Any help at all no matter how minute ? Plus I would think Georgians would out number Texans a good bit, as allot of people have to go back to their jobs after Thanksgiving Holiday. Thoughts ??

Will be a crime if UGA falls outta the top 12 if Texas beats them next Sat and two years in a row UGA gets screwed by a anti SEC group of idiots in some frozen tundra hotel room in Chicago… While Notre Dam sits at home as all these conference schools play in their respective Championship games taking all the risks.

Either Notre Dame get in a conference or they should not be allowed in post season play…period!

Allot is gonna hinge on getting some of our injured guys back. Both the Robinson guys are powerhouse players When they are fully healthy. Though they are both rusty from being out so long. Protect the football multiplied by a thousand !!

And even an injured Etienne is better than no Etienne at all. Frazier has been doing an Excellent job, and can’t brag enough on Cash Jones, but in This game and moving forward they’re gonna need all the help they can get.

Our Defense really needs to rise up and shine, as they did vs Clemson., TX the first time, then TN, even More so in This game and going forward. TX can be beat but Dawgs need to execute and NO turn overs. Go Dawgs !!

I think it’s ridiculous that Ohio state losing to an unranked team might only drop 4 spots when we dropped 9 losing to a ranked ole miss team in their stadium.

I believe you’re right. Texas hasn’t played there before. This will be like a home game for the Dawgs! I hoping like 60/40 or even better 70/30. Let’s welcome them to the SEC. Go Dawgs!

No Athletic Director of Any CFB team should be Chairman of the Playoff Committee !! Less alone Michigan !!! Of course he hates Georgia !!! The Committee should be composed of people who are as best humanly possible, Neutral.

Someone holding a position at a school less alone the AD of all people shouldn’t be on that Committee PERIOD !!! Yall as I am are die hard Dawgs fans, and I Readily admit I’m not sure I could Fight off my bias as I passionately Love Dawgs football. In fact I think much of the time I love it To Much !!

Dawgs Embarrassed Michigan on National TV not so long ago, Of Course their AD has a built in bias toward UGA !! The Truth is though the Dawgs have played The Most difficult schedule in All CFB with losses Only to Bama very early in the season, on the road at Their House which very much matters. And vs Ole Miss with a bunch of injuries to our best players, again on the road at Their House.

Dawgs beat TX on the road at Their House and previously beat Clemson at neutral site and TN at home all three by Solid scores. Pounded Clemson. And Respect Dawgs get ?? Nope, None !!

As for the “close” games the Dawgs have played. Close only counts in hand grenades and horse shoes !! Dawgs beat Auburn by One Point but guess what the record books will forever more reflect that as a WIN !!

SO in summary the only way the Dawgs will get recognition is WIN !! Might Never get their respect but who cares, their respect is Cheap when they keep plugging ND in there !! And look at IN they folded like a wet noodle when they played a team with a real defense, that Same team just got beat by MI yesterday. So our Dawgs need to Force recognition by Winning, and they can stuff their so called respect !! GO DAWGS !! GATA !!

@navydawg…No, Texas has never played a game in Mercedes Benz. I don't know how much that really matters, but we obviously know the field very well.

What is UGA's record in MB stadium? Should an improved TX team take UGA in the CFBCG I could see the committee pitting 2 SEC teams vs each other to get an SEC team eliminated. I could also see the committee dropping UGA to 9 and having UGA go to #8 TN for its 1st rd playoff game.
