Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

THe defense has to show up Saturday in a big way. A&M couldn't score on offense buttheir defense kept them in the game.
I get that the "press" wants to ask questions that could be used as headlines, but most of the time the questions asked are just dumb. Us fans don't care about what Smart thinks about the rivalry or what he thinks of the rankings or any of that. We want to hear that there is a plan in place for fixing the problems.
I think it would be completely appropriate to ask Smart why Georgia has the most dropped passes in the NCAA and what concrete steps Smart is going to take to address them.
This is a very straightforward problem to fix. It's not like it's a lack of effort or the receivers didn't want to get it. Yelling at them won't fix it. Dig into the issue. Is Arian Smith (and others) catching every pass in practice? No? Well, gee, maybe figure out what's going on there with his technique. If he is, try and replicate with defenders. Still catching it? Okay, maybe it's the thrower. Does it happen when Beck throws it to him? Find the problem and then FIX THE PROBLEM. Maybe Beck needs to adjust his throws. Maybe it's a focus issue. Maybe the receivers are trying to run before they catch it. It has to be one of the easier problems to fix in football.
