Even the announcement looked transactional. Just gave a perfunctory wave of a half-unfolded Texas shirt and signed the paper. I thought for sure it was going to be one of those fake-out moments.

At this point he made his choice and Dawgnation does not need to continue to rub salt in the wound. Don't cover him any more and cover the players we currently have, are committed to UGA, or potentially could become Dawgs in the future. It doesn't matter if he is a home state player, he is no longer our concern. Time to move on.

If he didn't want to be here, I didn't want him. It's all about the money nowadays and it is a sad reflection on the NFL's minor league, although this kid will make more money than many NFL players while he is in college. I can't blame him because seriously, we know he is going to be paid millions.
