The pass was ug1y but thank goodness for Luckie. You just know that DB is hating life and can now claim to be the inspiration behind a new session in practice: “So you intercepted. What now?”

Almost as bad as the texas receiver giving up on the play when Everette picked off the tipped pass.

Lawson Luckie climbed the stairs and snagged that ball !! Was a beautiful sight !!

Amazingly about Luckie's catch on the sidelines - that man is a TE. Those passes are usually only for wide-outs and as with most of UGA's TEs, they are all athletes first, and TEs second. Great catch and great team cohesiveness. Let's go DAWGS and finish the drill.

Is it just me but the cover pic of Lawson he resembles Gronk ??

I think the biggest play of the game that no one is talking about was when the O linemen kept Texas from scoring after Beck was hit and fumbled. All of our receivers and backs were in the end zone. Georgia doesn’t win if Texas scores a TD there to go up by 10 at the half.

He does look like Gronk, especially on that toe tapper sideline catch. These were all big plays in their own right—with us probably not winning if any of them hadn't happened.

  • Two other critical events in the game were the coin tosses at the beginning of the game and at the beginning of overtime. The first coin toss "win" resulted in the Gunner-led scoring drive to open the second half, a definite momentum changer. The second coin toss, in overtime, allowed Georgia to play defense first, holding Texas to a field goal. Knowing what they had to do to win the game, the Dawgs came through with a touchdown. Lady Luck was definitely decked out in Bulldog red for the SEC Championship Game.
