Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

"Barbour is about 6 feet, 3 inches and 225 pounds. He’s a sleek, modern do-everything tight end."
For UGA maybe. In the NFL - and at a lot of colleges - WRs are often taller and bigger. It's true that the spread offense trend has allowed NFL and college teams to play a lot more guys under 6 feet and 180 lbs than back when Jerry Rice was the prototype. Still, guys like Calvin Johnson (6'5" 240 lbs and he was a split end, not a possession WR), Demaryius Thomas (6'3" 225 lbs and also a split end), and Mike Evans (6'5" 231 lbs and was a split end until he got older and moved to flanker) with the ability to play X, Y and Z are still out there and UGA should do a better job of landing them.
Actually, Jeff, ESPN does rate Williams #1 at TE. They split the TE ranks for H-TE and Y-TE. Both Williams (#49 overall and #1 TE-Y position prospect) & Barbour (#59 overall and #1 TE-H) are ranked as the best at their respective position!
